• Install the upper cabinets first if you are going to install both lower and upper cabinets. This is because of the reason that installation will become simple if there is no base cabinet in place and you will get ample space for maneuvering.
• Take help of stud finder in order to locate studs in the wall. Remember that studs are normally placed sixteen inches apart. It is quite important to mark the location of studs with the help of a ball pen.  
• Once you are through with this step, you have to find a reference point for kitchen cabinets. About finding reference point, you will notice that there is space of around 20′ inches between the bottom of the upper cabinets and the countertop. It is quite crucial to measure that distance from your countertop and mark the wall.
• Next, make sure to use the level fully and draw a line along the wall. With help of screws, attach the 2x4s into the wall. By doing this, you will get a much-needed resting point while going through the process of hanging cabinets.
• The whole exercise of installing kitchen wall cabinets gets simpler if there are no doors on them; you can install the doors later after you have attached the cabinets to the wall.

When installing kitchen wall cabinets, it is of paramount importance to first install the corner cabinets. Another thing you must take into consideration is the attachment of kitchen cabinets to the studs. It is worth mentioning in this regard that studs will play a prominent part as they give support to the cabinet and carry the weight of items placed in the cabinets.

Tighten the screws properly and check the sides of the kitchen cabinets. Ensure that the front of all cabinets are on level with each other.  After you have mounted the cabinets on the kitchen walls, you can add the cabinet doors with help of the hinges and add any other decorative hardware you like!
