Do not use scrubbers made up of steel or any other hard material as the hard material can leave scratches or damage the paint of cabinets which will make them look old and dirty.

The best thing that helps clean the cabinets is vinegar and water. Take equal proportions of water and vinegar and start cleaning. Other than this, you can also use lemon juice and soda; this will help in removing the grim and accumulated dust to a large extent.

Such products are easily available and help to removes scratches from wood. If the scratches are large, you can use a felt tip pen or shoe polish in the same color as the cabinet to hide them.
