Stained cabinets can be cleaned with soapy water. The soapy mixture should contain equal amounts of water and cleanser. Avoid products containing silicon. Also avoid products that contain ammonia and bleach as they can destroy the cabinets’ finish.

Avoid Chips and Scratches

Do not use abrasive cleansers and cleaning tools on cabinets. Some towels that have stiff material can leave tiny scratches that make the surface of the cabinet look dull. To avoid this, always use soft cloth when cleaning the cabinet surface. Use a chipping block in order to avoid chipping and scratching. If you want to hide or cover fine scratches use a light spray furniture polish.

Clean Food and Water Spots

If you see any food or water spots on cabinets, clean them with mild detergent or soap and water and then dry them well with the help of a lint-free cloth. It can be used for both washing and drying. Use cleaners and polishes that are specifically designed for the kind of cabinets you have at home.
